Almost three weeks away from home, the absence of super-loud and crazy laughters in my recent life in singapore have definitely made me miss Brunei even more.
1. Definitely the top of the list of things/ people i miss most in Brunei are my parents. Gone are the days of carefree, and more importantly, chore-free lifestyles, in its place now are a series of endless duties, errands.

Mom and dad in their 20s.
2. They are so arrogant, they already know they will make the list.

3. Absolutely miss some of the cafes and eateries in Brunei. Needless to say, the privilege of not having to wait in long, endless queues for a pathetic sandwich is enough to make me pack my bags and run in 100-meter dash-speed back to brunei.

4. Brunei is indeed one of those countries blessed with beautiful, stunning beaches with super-straight shorelines. These beaches can very conveniently serve as hideouts from prying eyes.

5. DEFINITELY the slow-but-swift-paced lifestyle offered by Brunei! Please do notice there is no hesitation in my tone. It seems to me people living here are on steroids every single day; every body seems to be walking and talking twice as fast and everyday for me seems to be a steroid- induced marathon race.

Warning: If you'd decided that one day for whatever reasons there are that you wanted to punish yourself, try this: Live in Singapore as a single without a car of your own.
I bought a new HP deskjet printer. And what was so fascinating about this event was that i had to carry this printer all the way back home! Down the school hill, on the bus for approximately 20- gruelling minute, and then the most dreaded 15 minutes of march back home.
And what was so funny was that i was actually convinced by the sales lady that she could help reduce my burden by helping me make a handle out of cellotapes.

As the saying goes, when life throws you lemon, make sweet and savoury lemonades out of them.
Or alternatively, when life throws you bittergourd and making something sweet and savoury is out of the question, remember that bittergourd removes heat from your body, and enhances blood circulation.
Three cheers for a Brunei-Malaysia hybrid!
